Donna WorthingtonCFP®, EPC

Client Care Manager

Donna spent all of her working years embracing two major careers. As a Registered Nurse, Donna won the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award for her “Clean Hands / Dirty Hands” Program. She has presented her program at international conferences and made submissions to the World Health Organization. This program has been taught across the country to thousands of children. But, career changes happen so, Donna took her nursing attributes of caring, planning and organizational skills and applied them to the Financial Services Industry.

At MacEwan, University Donna won the CIBC Scholarship for the highest marks in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation program in that year. She has served on many professional boards including 12 years on the National Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners. Her “Women-In-Finance” mentorship program has been taught within many financial institutes, including Mackenzie Financial and Manulife Financial. Donna is enthusiastic about providing ongoing education to clients.

Donna is enthusiastic about educating and has developed an eight-hour mentorship program covering all aspects of business building for women, including the power of collaboration and the value of processes. She is very concerned about the lack of financial education in our educational systems and specifically how that affects women. Her on-going passion is to educate those men and women who want to better their financial futures through proper financial planning.

Through sponsored events Donna has supported many charities such as: The Edmonton Valley Zoo, The YMCA, Alberta Easter Seals, The Dream Center, Muscular Dystrophy and E4C, just to name a few.

Since becoming unlicensed in 2023, Donna continues as a Client Care Manager offering her advice and years of knowledge during the final transition of her clients to our team.
